Dear Members of the Dolphin Community whom I know and those whom I have yet to meet,I visited the beautiful island of Hawaii for the first time this June when I attended a seminar with Joan Ocean. I am now planning to come back to Hawaii to spend some more time on the island, with the dolphins, and with the people of the dolphin community. My stay will be open-ended but I plan to come in mid-September and to be on the island at least 3-4 months, perhaps longer. I will be living in the Captain Cook area.I will be looking to rent or buy (cheap) a car for my use on the island. Main requirements is that it be automatic transmission and free of major mechanical problems. Would any of you would be willing to make a deal with me foran affordable car rental or sale? I am on
a pretty tight budget in making this transition in my life, so any
help in this area would be most sincerely appreciated! At this point I would consider all options - limited-time rental, longer-term/ open-ended rental, or sale. Sad to say I will be leaving this beautiful place and selling my
trustworthy good Karma car that has always kept me safe here.
Have a white VW Jetta for sale, that is a very clean good energy car
and have taken very great care of it.
Had it for a year and did quite a bit of work on it. New timingbelt
and waterpump, alternator, brakes-rear and front, fixed radiatorleak,
2 new rear tires. It's now in really good mechanical condition and driving strong and has good gas mileage. It's a 5 speed Stickshift. Mileage 117.000. The only thing that is not working is the rear trunklid does not
open,however trunk can still be used thru the rear seats. Radio, CD
player might need rewiring, Kenwood detachable stereo and 4 Pioneer
speakers came with the car. Current registration and safety till June
2008. Needing to sell by 07. September due to leaving.

Sparkle Truck needs a new home! It just had a complete tune up at Robert's, has a Mitsubishi engine w/great power, AT, 2WD and it's been a great truck for puttering around the island, and helping many friends move. I am selling her because I am purchasing another vehicle.
There are quite a few glitter stars painted on one side that has a dent to cover the dent. Let me know if you wish to come take a look. She will be ready to go to another home on Friday

FOR SALE
I brought this awesome 4x4 SUV over with me from the mainland. I love this car - it is a dream car. Driving it feels like you can do anything, go anywhere, day or night, rain, sleet, fog or snow. It feels totally safe, for a smooth, classy ride.

The car is in excellent condition, a beautiful car. Power windows, dual sun roofs, Climate control (heat & a/c), 6 disc changer with alpine speakers, Tan leather interior.
As far as maintaining the car on the big island there are 2 mechanics on Kona side with diagostic computer. A luxury car that goes anywhere. Engine is flawless with no rust. No accidents. Selling because I need to down size.
